On Friday last week, we had the official opening of Te Kupenga o Rongomai Maidstone Sports Hub.

The Karakia was lead by Ōrongomai Marae, Upper Hutt and this event was a way to have those who contributed to the project walk through the facility as well as to unveil the Mouri stone.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the opening of Te Kupenga o Rongomai. It was a memorable day for all who attended, fostering unity within our community.

Our weekend started off bright and early on Friday with a formal blessing of Te Kupenga o Rongomai, led by Kura Moeahu. Such a beautiful way to mark the beginning of the next chapter.
